Matilda Sjölin is part of the firm's Corporate Commercial team, focusing on corporate law, M&A and Banking & Finance. She assists Swedish and international companies in corporate law matters, including the establishment of new businesses, investments and corporate restructuring.
She also regularly advises both buyers and sellers in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. Her work covers the entire transaction process, including due diligence investigations and the drafting and negotiation of agreements and other transaction-related documentation. Through her involvement in the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), she has a strong international network.
Within the field of Banking and Finance, she works regularly with loan financing and assists, for example, in connection with loan facilities, asset financing and the issuance of legal opinions. Furthermore, she has particular expertise in financial regulation and assists clients with regulatory advice in connection with the establishment and operation of financial businesses, including applications for financial authorisations and registrations for lending, leasing and payment services. She also has extensive experience in assisting clients in supervisory matters vis-à-vis relevant supervisory authorities.
