Jonas Öjelid is manager of the firm's Real Estate team and works primarily with commercial tenancy issues. Jonas regularly assists both Swedish and international players in matters relating to, for example, tenancy agreements, renegotiations, terminations and tenancy-related cases in court, arbitration proceedings and the Rent Tribunal.
He is particularly appreciated by his clients for his clear and pragmatic advice and has extensive experience in, among other things, assisting property owners with the specific issues that arise in shopping centres and out-of-town retail parks. Jonas also has extensive experience in commercial tenancy law cases handled by the Rent Tribunal (mediation, opinions on market rent, deferrals and opinions on acceptable replacement premises).
His previous experience working for one of Sweden's largest debt collection agencies also gives him cutting-edge expertise in the effective handling of tenants who fail to make their payments.
Jonas also has extensive experience in dispute resolution and has been a representative in many disputes in court and arbitration proceedings for over 15 years, including several cases in the courts of appeal and one case in the Supreme Court.
