Conclusion of employment, conditions and contracts

There is no legal requirement for an employment contract to be in writing, but it is strongly recommended, both for the security of the employer and the employee, so that the parties know what the terms of the employment relationship are. Employment conditions and benefits are also important competitive tools for employers to attract and retain the best labour. Furthermore, the Employment Protection Act lays down rules on what an employer must inform employees of in writing within a certain period of time from the start of the employment relationship, which is best done in the employment contract.

NORMA’s lawyers can assist in the drafting of employment contracts, consideration and negotiation of employment terms, adjustments to the terms of existing employment contracts, etc.
